DER indicates how much plant material was used to obtain the extract. Example: DER 10:1 means that 1 g of extract was obtained from 10 g of herb. This is an important indicator of quality and concentration of ingredients.

We do not recommend this. The capsules not only neutralize the taste of herbs and active ingredients but also protect them from the action of gastric juice – which affects their effectiveness and comfort of use.

Dietary supplements should never be combined with coffee and tea! It's best to maintain a 30–60 minute interval between taking a supplement and your favourite beverage; only then can you be sure they will retain all their properties. Otherwise, you might limit the absorption of certain vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, iron, zinc, or B vitamins.

Most of our capsules are made from plant-derived materials, such as HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), which are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
The exception is the OMG! Omega-3 product, which uses bovine gelatine capsules. This is due to the properties of gelatine, which provides the necessary seal and durability for softgel capsules, essential for the stable storage of oils such as omega-3 fatty acids. -
Life Upgrade dietary supplements are packaged in dark glass jars that limit light access to the supplements, thus helping them maintain their properties. The jars also have metal caps. The supplements are packed in cardboard packaging. The entire Life Upgrade packaging is recyclable and biodegradable (compostable).
